Osaka in Appleton

NEVER RETURNING. went out for my birthday dinner with one of my good friends & we both got very very sick from the food. took our waitress 30 MINUTES TO PAY FOR OUR FOOD.

The customer service is regularly swift, lovely ambience, super nice employees. I will return again when I am in the area.

Nice atmosphere but to much garlic in their fried rice.

I love the atmosphere, as well, the sushi and hibachi are delicious. I've never had poor service and the staff are kind and courteous.

This place is amazing! Such fun entertainment while making your meal. It is totally worth going to for a night out. The food was really good too!

I've tried all the hibachi restaurants in Appleton and by far this is the best. Keep going back over and over. Fillet is so tender you can cut it with a fork. Great size shrimp with the meal. Cooks are fun and entertaining.

Last time I was there I was sitting in a booth and there was a waitress sitting a table away from me doing some paperwork in the dining area. ( not professional in my opinion but not my biggest issue) . I watched one of the cooks walk over to her after making my sushi and started rubbing her shoulders in the middle of the dining area.. not something I want to see during my meal.

Soooooo good! Tje Tako Salad was great and I loved the miso soup. Also I had the Shrimp tempura Bento box with California sushi rolls. So great!

Great place for hibachi or sushi. It is our favorite place to eat out in Appleton. Would definitely recommend it to anyone we know.

The food here is absolutely delicious and the decor and acrhitecture is stunning.

Dimly Lit, my food was tasty and very well put together, granted I only got one sushi roll. Overall I'd go back just needs a little more light. Also I was the only one there and I didn't see any other customers in there which was odd. Parking lot needs to be replaced as well but I suppose it served it's purpose.

I go for sushi most times, always happy. They have some decently spicy ones too.

Really good food. We tend to get the same Hibachi cook over and over. He has great personality, but tends to burn the food a little every time. Today was the first time he didn't. But he forgot my side of noodles. Overall, too good to pass up otherwise. We go here a lot.

Nice atmosphere, food and service is good. Menu consists mainly of sushi and other side items, so that is fairly authentic of a Japanese restaurant. Did not have what I was looking for so that's the minus one star.

Very good food and service. Well priced. The only thing I would suggest is adding a little more light inside.

I really enjoy this place. Very nice hibachi atmosphere. Food is always cooked to perfection. The meal for two is reasonably priced. Always has great service. Try it out if you are out by the mall!

Excellent food and service. And no more expensive than any other sushi restaurant. The tempura was perfect. So light and crisp and tasty. We had the bento box lunches (with a side of a Lisa Crunch roll) and they were fabulous!

Food is excellent and the environment but the wait time is ridiculous. 2 hour process to have hibachi.. not coming back here.

I have been there many times I even have my own sushi roll named after ask for the Kyle roll some day. But ask a woman that will serve you or be at a table next to the bar.

I don't leave many bad reviews but this place is awful. Ordered the Ramen and egg rolls. The eggs in the Ramen where like rubber, the miso was fishy and disgusting and the pork was very bad as well. Even the egg rolls where bad. No flavor and the sweet and sour sauce was like water. I eat all over the country and this is def the worst I've ever had. Not being mean just truthful. So disappointed.

I am allergic to mushrooms so my food was cooked separate from the others! I was very impressed and happy! Food was great! Love their yum yum sauce!!

We had dinner and it was great. Food priced perfect. Drinks are great. Dessert was awesome! We had Roben as our waitress and she was excellent! Very attentive and always smiling! Great personality.. really made our experience better. We had egg rolls as an appetizer. (Came out perfect!) Sushi was great. General Tso's chicken was good (personally could have been cooked a few minutes more) Overall was a great place to eat and we will be back.

Had just left Fox Cities PAC performance at 445 on Saturday afternoon. Wanted to try the Hibachi dinner restaurant across Division St from the PAC. The restaurant, which does not take reservations on Fri & Sat, had just opened at 430. In a short 15 mins, it was "a 2 hr & 30 min wait". Sorry, no restaurant is worth THAT long a wait.Drove 10 mins to Osaka in Fox River Mall. We were seated immediately. Delightful experience. Staff greets customers with a smile, table servers very attentive including asking if our "nearly 4 yr old" granddaughter was celebrating her birthday - which she was. Our table chef was courteous and engaging with the entire table. Our food, delicious, cooked to perfection.Skip the wait downtown and enjoy the experience, fine food and friendly staff at Osaka.

We used to go here often, at least once a month, the food was amazing. Maybe things have changed, but we had so many bad experiences with the service, we haven't been back in a few years. Once, while it was fairly slow. We had a table with like 8 people. After over an hour of waiting at the hibachi table, with other tables being served who arrived after us, we asked what was going on? Apparently they forgot about us.With a party of around 20 or 25, one of the children was sitting with the other kids, but decided she wanted to sit on her mother's lap and moved. That messed up his order of food placement. Rather then be a civilized person and ask her nicely to move back, he yelled at both the mother and the child. We had a few other bad experiences that made us decide to go elsewhere. It's a shame.

The best Hibachi place I've been. We love the yum yum sauce! We are regulars. The Sushi there is delicious!

We are currently sitting here freezing. You can see your breath by the hibachi tables. Everyone in the room is complaining. I never get cold and I'm freezing. My feet are froze!! They say they cant turn their thermostat above 60!! Well it's not that in here either, you can see your breath. I will never set foot in here again. About 15 people walked out while we were there. Horrible!!!

Pretty good sushi, service was pretty quick. I've eaten here several times and have not been disappointed.

Great food. Great service. Decent prices. My daughter had some sushi and it was the best we both have ever had. I had the seafood delight and it was excellent. Our server was great. No complaints. It was the first time we had ever eaten there, we will go there again.

Stopped in with my family. Many open tables and was told 2 hour wait. I was there before and had good service. Guess having 2 granddaughters may have influenced them.

Not ordering again. I splurged for a lunch for myself through Eat Street and spent $30. I specified for both items, NO sauce please, only to have the food arrive dripping in sauce, and another sauce was in the bag. I can get migraines from certain sauces, which is why I specified that. Both items were simple sashimi-type items, so there's no reason not to be able to follow the special instructions. That level of oversight is pretty bad. I could have cried.

We spent 2 hours when it could have easily been 45 minutes to an hour. Our waitress forgot to put our order in , completely ignored us while we waited. When we asked for another round of drinks it took 15 minutes. She forgot that soup and salad came with our meal as well. As for getting our bill it took another 15 minutes just to see her again. All in all we wont stop coming here because we havent had these issues before, but they definatley need to work on staffing and utilizing their employees appropriately.

Ordered through eat street and was not impressed. Paid $30 for 3 rolls plus the delivery fee and I would have been better off getting my sushi at festival food! The rolls were small (all in one container, TINY pieces.) and very mediocre tasting sushi. The spicy tuna has more crunchy crumbs in it than actual tuna. Will not be ordering again :(

Vary small portions for the price. Do not order online order straight from restaurant. Online services charge you a lot more then normal price. But the food is good

Standard hibachi quality and price. The green tea icecream is AMAZING

Great place to eat with an okay show. They make you sit at a grill with other parties so being social is a must! A child was splashed with some hot grease while we were there but he was ok!

Food was good but I’ve had better habachi in the area. The prices weren’t bad but staff are very rude and thought we didn’t leave a tip because we left money on the table rather than putting it on our card.. they ran up to us saying we didn’t tip! It was very awkward and rude. (I almost wanted to go back to our table and grab the tip we left)
